Description
|
Dieng Plateau
is a place that perched at 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) above sea level, Dieng
Plateau is one of the coolest destinations in Indonesia, and not just
weather-wise. Once a year, tourists flock to the spot for a much-anticipated
festival that includes traditional rituals,
performances, and jazz above the clouds.

Description of Place
|
Komodo island
is small island of 280 square km, that locatedis between Sumbawa and Flores islands. Komodo growing up to 3 to 4 meters in length. The
Komodo had protected by the law and although they are considered harmless, it
is advisable to keep them at a distance. The sea surrounding the island
offers vistas of sea life, crystal clear waters, and white sandy beaches. The
best time to visit the island is between March and June, and between October
and December. Komodo is accessible from the sea only. Fly to Labuan Bajo,
from where it is about 3-4 hours by boat to the island.

Mount Bromo is an
active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East
Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest
peak of the massif, but is the most well known. The massif area is one of the
most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The name
of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation
of Brahma, the Hinducreator god. Mount Bromo sits in the middle of
a plain called the “Sea of Sand”, to get there you can walk or use a jeep
tour from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang.

Tana Toraja is safely protected
beyond the lofty mountains and rugged granite cliff. The
nobility of Toraja are believed to be descendents of heavenly
beings who came down by a heavenly stairway to live here on earth in this
beautiful landscape. To keep up the energy of the land and its people, the
Toraja people believe that these must be sustained through rituals that
celebrate both life and death, which are attached to the agricultural
seasons.
